lululemon appoints Gareth Pope, General Manager, EMEA

lululemon is delighted to welcome Gareth Pope to its Europe-Middle East team as General Manager.

Reporting directly to CEO Laurent Potdevin, Pope will be responsible for leading growth and development of lululemon in the EMEA region.

A driven and compassionate leader with deep understanding of the EMEA market, Pope most recently served as Converse’s GM for the region. In addition, Pope spent 14 years at Nike Inc., where he held a number of senior roles, including scaling two fast growth units of the brand as GM Nike Digital Commerce, North America and GM Nike Action Sports, EMEA. Prior to Nike Inc., Pope worked at McKInsey & Company and Kidder, Peabody & Company both in London.

Pope holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics. He is an avid athlete, having played tennis and basketball at junior international level.  Usually together with his wife and two young daughters, today he can be found on a bike, in the mountains or in a yoga studio.
