lululemon is once again hosting “Unroll China”, a multi-city, shared yoga practice led by the brand’s global yoga ambassadors.
The first lululemon Unroll China event took place in 2016, drawing thousands of new and long-time yogis to practice in iconic locations, including the Forbidden City in Beijing, Central Green of Shanghai Lujiazui Financial Center and Daci Temple at Chengdu Taikoo Li. For 2017, the event is doubling in size, with six cities and 10,000 expected participants.
Unroll China is the largest lululemon community experience in Asia with the purpose of uniting and elevating lives in China through the power of practice. This year’s event kicks off in Shanghai Concert Hall on May 6, and is followed by stops in West Lake of Hangzhou, Grand Theatre of Guangzhou, Taikoo Li Square of Chengdu, Bay Sports Center of Shenzhen, and culminates with a celebration for 6,000 guests at Olympic Forest Park in Beijing on June 18. Each event will offer limited-edition yoga mats for participants in all six host cities.
Leading this year’s Unroll China events are Baron Baptiste, lululemon Global Yoga Ambassador; Maiko Kurata, lululemon Ambassador and EYRT 500 Yoga Alliance; Lin Min, lululemon China Ambassador; Calorie Cao, lululemon Beijing Sanlitun Ambassador; and Tiffany Hua, community yoga instructor and Founder of Tiffany Yoga Studio. Last, but not least, Los Angeles-based sound ambassador, producer, yogi and dancer, DJ Drez, will present his passionate beats and heat up Unroll China Shanghai.
