This winter, lululemon's designers sought inspiration from the light in darkness and tapped into multisensory workouts—everything from night run clubs to dimly-lit fitness studios—to create our newest, digitally-engineered print, Electrobeam.
Our Advanced Concepts team was inspired by the boundaries between night and day and infused product with geometric prints, mirroring aerial lights seen at night.
The limited-edition print was developed in partnership with our Research and Development lab, Whitespace, where designers cut and sewed different mock-ups of the print on body in real time. This real life body mapping process allowed the team to obsess over detail and leave no room for error, ensuring they achieved the most beautiful, flattering design for our guests.
The limited-edition print will be offered online and in select stores starting November 27, 2017.
