lululemon Partners with London-based Fashion Designer Roksanda Ilinčić’ for a Street-to-sweat Wear Collection

OCTOBER 22, 2019

Rooted in the contrast between function and fashion, and designed for street-to-sweat wear, this collection focuses on a life in transition. Exclusive new styles are complemented with fresh takes on Roksanda and lululemon’s most iconic silhouettes, playing into Roksanda’s unexpected colour combinations and sculptural shapes. These are pieces to mix, match, and layer, designed for every aspect of a woman’s day.

In the 17-piece fall capsule, voluminous shapes and exaggerated proportions reference Roksanda’s modern movement and craftsmanship, while her trademark colourblocking is refreshed for the season in hibiscus, violet, sienna, and rich midnight. lululemon’s signature athleticism—sweat-ready fabrics, made-to-move fits, packable features, reflective accents—infuses the collection with all-weather functionality for yoga, run, train, and transitional wear. The Inner Expanse Infinity Coat, a standout piece from the fall capsule, is endlessly customizable and can be worn as a coat, puffer jacket, or light trench.

“The designs are carefully created to complement every element of a woman’s lifestyle. It was important to me that each piece feels natural to wear at any point in the day.” – Roksanda Ilinčić

The first capsule from the Roksanda x lululemon collection is available now; the second capsule drops January 2020. Both will be available online at lululemon.com and in select lululemon stores and luxury retailers.
