lululemon Appoints Blanca Gonzalez as SVP, Global Merchandising

January 11, 2021

Blanca Gonzalez will join lululemon starting February 1 as its head merchant, SVP, Global Merchandising, leading the global merchandising strategy for the brand across North America, EMEA, and APAC markets.

“We’re thrilled to have Blanca join and lead our Merchandising team with her decades of experience and results in technical apparel,” said Sun Choe, Chief Product Officer of lululemon. “She brings strong people-first leadership and a global mindset that will allow us to both expand into international markets and continue our trajectory in North America.

Blanca joins lululemon after nearly 20 years at Nike, where she held various Merchandising and General Management roles. She was recently Vice President and General Manager of Nike’s North America, Los Angeles/West territory, where she led the Nike and the Jordan brand's key city vision. Her experience will enable lululemon to further expand its product, awareness and consumer base in the run, train and yoga categories.

“lululemon’s brand is as strong as it has ever been and there’s no better time to join its best-in-class team of merchants,” said Blanca Gonzalez. “I’m excited to continue to propel the lululemon story forward to more guests in more markets as the brand innovates in technical women’s and men’s apparel and accessories.”

Blanca will be based in Los Angeles.
